Car was really dirty - I forgot it was Purple! The bug spray I used was rubbish - it left marks in the paint. Instead I used a halfords colour restorer which is a bit like t-cut but a lot milder. Rather than rub hard -wipe on and off and it took off the tar as well leaving lovely smooth paint. There were a few scuffs on the wing etc... so I used T-Cut to remove these. The alloys looked like they were black and dark grey! After washing the paint still had steaks so I used a shammy. Alloy wheels got a thorough washing over. I then scrubbed the alloys and use CITRIC acid on the areas which were badly soiled. The washed bonnet looked good but not a deep shine and there were still swirls in the paint...
now with pics a quite quick estate car Just registered so a few details of my car which I think qualifies as unusual Car is a Nissan Stagea - basically a skyline estate. Most have the single turbo RB25 engine with auto box and are quite rare. This however one is one of the even rarer cars with 4wd and the twin turbo GTR engine and manual gearbox . Cant post pics yet (under 10 posts) so a brief spec as I dont want to make my first post an essay Tuned RB26DETT engine dynod at 413 bhp with 340 ftlbs of tourque at 3500 rpm. Nismo body kit and recaro interior, Uprated brakes , suspension and steering .etc. Anyway Im now off to look at the rest of the site. Now have 10 posts so here are some pics The rest of...
Right thought it would be a good idea to start one of these just to give you all and idea on what i am doing with my car and get opinions and ideas, wont be as in depth as some others who are rebuilding entire cars but should be enough for people to view and enjoy. I will be posting pictures up in the next few days when i have an hour to spare. Including what i have done to the car already and maybe a little sneak preview of my allloy project. Deffinate plans for the future: Finish alloys Spray exhaust and fuel cap fibre glass sub enclosure New head and tail lights Maybe plans for the future: Rear splitter Exhaust sytem (just want to add a little rumble) Tinted Windows Suggested light engine mods (seeing as i...
Hi this is my awesome chevy project :D it is a Chevrolet Suburban made in the fine year 1985 with a 6,2 liter diesel engine. the plan was to do something cool with the paint but since that plan was made the automatic transmission thought it would be a great idea to break down  but it is raised for 35" tyres by icelandic standards NOT the american way  So now the plan is... 1. Take care of ALL rust in the car ( witch is not much ) 2. Put some awesome color on it maybe matte black or matte candy apple red or maybe gloss candy apple red I have´nt made the selection yet :) 3. Put some cool rims on it 4. Stereo 5. Lighting ( xenon ) 6. Re-tint the windows 7. New Grille this will all take a lot of time but I...
Hey guys, thought I would post up some pics of the Mondeo. Just washed it and gave it its first polish in a while. Think it came up ok. Things to do: Lower (you wouldnt think it was sitting on 18's on sports suspension) Refurb wheels And then possibly a remap Who said standard radios were rubbish? well i did actually but i stand corrected...
Took the beasty a little ride out this morning to see if i could clear her lungs a bit after the ecu hadn't been connected for a while hehe (or never since the turbo went in lol). Well i set off with it running the same as it was but marginally better with not much boost but better revving. Then just after i started to record this vid she let loose, free'd everything up and shot into over boost like there was no tomorrow lmao. You will see when i floor it in 2nd what happens next, put it this way, she was spinning in 5th gear  Ok, please forgive the un-steadyness as i had to tape the phone to my hand so I could drive safely ;) Here goes:-...
In this guide I will simply explain how to upload pictures onto this forum. Step 1 Sign up to an image hosting website. I use Photobucket. It is completely free. Step 2 Once you have created an account. You may wish to create an album if (like me) you like to keep things organised. Step 3 Create an album by filling in the details. Step 4 Your new album is ready for some pictures! Click 'Upload photos and videos'. You can also use 'Album options' drop down. Step 5 Select some photos! You will have to select the folder you have stored them in on your PC. *If you want to select more than one, hold 'Ctrl'.* Step 6 Your soon to be viewed photos will now upload to your album. Step 7 Time to...
I took these a little while ago after giving it a quick clean. Since the photos I have changed the kidney grills at the front for some polished ones. My only real plans are to get some 17s for it, sort out some scratches and freshen it up a little bit. I don't want to do too much until I know what's going on with my insurance claim (on the Civic).
Hi all :) The icelandic Ford Mustang Owners Club & the Icelandic Drag Racing Club held an open day for U.S.A cars on the Drag Strip. BE AWARE I am a total NOOB at taking pictures at the strip !!! Please be gentle :embarrest: Camera : Canon G7 with Wide Converter WC-DC58B 0.75x And please comment on the pics and maybe give me some advice ? :cheesy: the rest of the pics are at www.ingvarp.is in the album "muscle day" :)
OK, here is my attempt at Supercharging a Stock Australian Ford Falcon BA 4.0. The only things I didn't have to change was the intake manifold & Blower. Originally it came as a one-off Kit (but it was only half finished & didn't fit). So, everything bar the intake manifold/runners had to be re-designed & remade or re-machined. It cost me a Bloody fortune (at least twice as much as the original planed outlay).
I painted the interior of my mitsubishi lancer 2004 ... and after that i repainted it with other different colors ... these pictures show the old dashboard the new dashboard i still didnt take pictures of it but its awesome ... I did something totally new and original .... after painting the dash for the 2nd time with extra dark purple and some silver parts ... i changed the interior roof light to a black light from radio shack that works in the car battry and painted using flourescent colors i bought from a paint shop in the dash board lines like the lines u see in any electronic devises so many lines it looks so techno i used flourescent blue and some flourescent yellow ... try it . it doesent affect anything u cant c it except...
Hi guys. This is a car I have been wanting for a long time, I had the L6 but I never liked it engine wise. My brother traded a Nissan Patrol for this and I bought it from him. What we are looking at here is a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4.7L V8 (who cares about fuel price!) with 177000km's on the clock. The paint is not the best in the world with some deep marks on both the front and back of the car, loads of RDS's and loads of swirlmarks. It will be fixed soon, hopefully in the next week or 2. Only 2 now, I'll take it out for a photoshoot when I'm finished detailing it :) The Skoda still lives with me but I'm trying to sell it, If I can't I'll be fixing it's paint in the winter and taking the plates off! :)

Finally moved on from polo's and given this a try. What do you think. Good or bad? Also I have been told they are known to go through headgaskets so I am going to replace that asap. It is 2000 reg with 52,000 miles on the clock. The whole car is mint except from one small dent on the right rear arch which im probably going to get a body shop to repair it. But for now I am going to leave the car as is.
Hello, I'm Stuart from norf essex and these are my my rides. The minor is in the process of being cut up ready to have the bulkhead and rear floor from the porsche welded in. The Porsche is sitting waiting to be stripped and cut up to donate organs forthe hybrid Minor. The Yank is a 1970 Plymouth Sport Satellite 318Cu-in (5211cc) V8 with Edelbrock performer intake manifold and Holley 600cfm secondary vac carburettor. It is also awaiting the fitment of a competition camshaft and 4-branch exhaust manifolds. And yes I know the General Lee was a Dodge charger and I have stickered up the wrong car. The Rover 2200sc is completley standard and original and is staying that way.

1988 Renault 9 Here are some pictures of my Renault 9! Now i'm only 17 so it's older than me! In good nick though =] What do you think? =] The only thing I might change are the reg plates. They look a bit old, but my dad says the fact that they have the original dealer's name on each one means something like it shows there's been no major front or rear end damage? I don't know. Either way, I may change them. Oh and also the old stickers in the back window! A job that I keep forgetting about! Yep, there it is =]
Just discovered this great forum, so I'll be looking for ideas to make my BMW 325xi more fun to drive. It's a 5 speed with all wheel drive, so the first order of business is to change all the fluids. I'm trying to find commercial equivalents to proprietary BMW fluids. I'm inclined to believe that high quality synthetic 75W90 gear oil can go in the trans, differentials and the transfer case. My goal is to make this car last for a long time! Cheers!
About 4 weeks ago when I was rebuilding our garden, I found a semi good size wolf-spider (The big-ass ones you find in the bath that run around like Rooney in the Prem lmao!) Any way, I thought i'd move him out of the way so I didn't kill it. I put it in a whole on an old victorian wall we have running down the side of the garden. I then fitted a sheet of trellis to the wall a day or 2 later and noticed he built himself a really nice home. So every time i found a daddy-long legs or beetle or fly or whatever, i through it in the web. Well yesterday was the first time I had seen it in 4 weeks and bloody hell.... It's by far the biggest spider in the wild i've seen in this country. I obviously could get the measure on him lol, but...

Well some of you might have seen my car in the other threads.. Here is a reminder of what it used to look like.. She stayed almost standard for around a year, and then at the French Car Show I decided that I wanted to change a few bits.. Here is how she looks now.. You can see for yourself most of the exterior mods.. The wheels have been refurbed and sprayed a colour which is between gloss black and a graphite colour.. I think this works well becuase in dark conditions it looks black, but they shine amazingly in the light. In these pics you can also see my new 266mm brakes which JUST squeeze under those tiny rims! She has also been lowered on 30mm Eibach springs just to keep the ride...
