Another new car.

Right been out today and bought a 1992 Escort Cab. It's a 1.6i and its grey. It's got 17 inch wheels and lowered suspension. Pics are to follow in the next couple of days.

Okay joking aside not a bad car for the nice weather, I bought one for my missus when she started driving, all white, white hood and white hood cover was a minter. However she could not drive it, heavy clutch, no power steering so that went and I bought a Calibra V6 in its place!

The Ti is on hold at the minute so I thought I'd have a bit of roof down fun for a while. It was a proper bargain too.
It's not perfect as you can imagine it's a 17 odd year old car. But it is quite good condition. The roof is in mint nick. :bigsmile:

So how much roof off driving have you done?

Not many if i'm honest. I haven't really been anywhere in it. Think i've done about 30 or miles since I've had it. I've been doin little bits and bobs to it and generally I've been cleaning things. I've had my son alot as he hasn't been to his mums for a while but when he's there again I'll be out.

Right little update the Cab has been took off the road for winter. Over the winter i'm gonna be giving it a good clean and replace/refurbish what it needs. There are no plans yet as to modding it at the moment i'm concentrating on cleaning it up. I'm going to colour code a few things under the bonnet and may put a small install in there but thats about it. I'll put pics up of progress soon.

It's only comng off the road for winter. It drives fine I just want to make it look better thats all. A good clean over the winter will sort it out.
