O'right all. Had a little meet on the 11th of November with a load of mates, who mostly own Jap cars for a fast run of Snake's Pass and a hearty pub meal. Good enough range of car to hopefully give the recently quiet forum some discussion points!!! Pics collated from different sources so don't hate. I will say the low sun and lighting made it very difficult to take pictures :beer:
1988 Renault 9 Here are some pictures of my Renault 9! Now i'm only 17 so it's older than me! In good nick though =] What do you think? =] The only thing I might change are the reg plates. They look a bit old, but my dad says the fact that they have the original dealer's name on each one means something like it shows there's been no major front or rear end damage? I don't know. Either way, I may change them. Oh and also the old stickers in the back window! A job that I keep forgetting about! Yep, there it is =]
I took these a little while ago after giving it a quick clean. Since the photos I have changed the kidney grills at the front for some polished ones. My only real plans are to get some 17s for it, sort out some scratches and freshen it up a little bit. I don't want to do too much until I know what's going on with my insurance claim (on the Civic).
did anyone go down to sittingbourne today? there was a classic car and classic bike show on at the greyhound track. some really nice trikes too, there was a honda fireblade trike and a few hotrods, didnt manage that many pics as i couldnt find my camara but borrowed my dads camara phone for a few.
well it started like this basic car.. 15" std alloys, cloth interior, no rear speakers been sat in a stable for a year undriven and cost me £450 , 2 WEEKS LATER the head gasket went, typical but no real bother £300 to sort that out with a metal one, now the car looks like this from the rear. change to rear lights (custom surrounds and fiat coupe lights) quad longlife SS Exhaust, stainless roll hoops interior totally changed Now has red leather seats/door cards/steering wheel/and gear knob, red painted window trim to match, resprayed speedo surround and mk2 centre console, as sprayed graphite grey, blue lockhead dspeedo dials, The airbag blank has been turned into a storage cubby hole made Taken from a MGZR, and I replaced...
First of all I'd just like to say what an epic time I had and trackdaydrivers.com were a brilliant bunch, everything was well organized and yet so relaxed at the same time. Everyone was so friendly and willing to chat. Great little technical course and the Focus was spot on, got a few good comments which is always nice. Also met a lad with a redtop Mk1 Corsa who asked for a ride in my car so ended up with a couple of on-board I-phone vids (also passengered in his). The first slew of videos are starting to pop up now, and some photos of which the professional ones should be up at some points this week. Have a look: http://www.facebook.com/v/10150622180983349 http://www.facebook.com/v/10150622190833349...
Hello mates, its been long since I last came here, I had an accident, a stove exploded on me and I got projected trough a second floor window, luckily my cordy was parked at the door and I landed on it then hitting the road, I came out of it with quite a colection of broken bones and burns.. So anyway, this is my Seat Cordoba some of you know it already, its an 1.9 SDI engine with low horse power. After te accident the insurance covered it and I put it back to what it was and did a couple of exterior mods, the engine is stock right now. The thing is that this car was a gift from my grandfather who passed away on last Christmas eve, it means a lot for me even tough is not a fast car, its a car Ill never sale or trade or get rid in any...

Hi all, in my time away from this fantastic forum I went to TRAX 2008. It was a great day out and a real experience. There was a good show of car clubs from across the UK, and the largest collection of Fords and Vauxhalls I have ever seen! There was also action on the track and a chance to do a run. In the show area there was a selection of ICE-out rides, dancing girls (sorry...no pics) and various stuff to buy. EA (Electronic Arts) were also showing previews of some the new games due out soon! There was also the great finally of hundred's of modified cars leaving at once. Ford Escort Cabriolet Ford Fiesta Honda CRX (and Peugeot 206 in background) Volkswagon Golf Rear Light Mitsubishi FTO A Team Van...

Nismo body kit and recaro interior, Uprated brakes , suspension and steering .etc. Anyway Im now off to look at the rest of the site. Now have 10 posts so here are some pics

Right thought it would be a good idea to start one of these just to give you all and idea on what i am doing with my car and get opinions and ideas, wont be as in depth as some others who are rebuilding entire cars but should be enough for people to view and enjoy. I will be posting pictures up in the next few days when i have an hour to spare. Including what i have done to the car already and maybe a little sneak preview of my allloy project. I keep mentioning Bod, my old Smart. Hello, I'm Stuart from norf essex and these are my my rides. The minor is in the process of being cut up ready to have the bulkhead and rear floor from the porsche welded in. The Porsche is sitting waiting to be stripped and cut up to donate organs forthe hybrid Minor. The Yank is a 1970 Plymouth Sport Satellite 318Cu-in (5211cc) V8 with Edelbrock performer intake manifold and Holley 600cfm secondary vac carburettor. It is also awaiting the fitment of a competition camshaft and 4-branch exhaust manifolds. And yes I know the General Lee was a Dodge charger and I have stickered up the wrong car. The Rover 2200sc is completley standard and original and is staying that way.
Bought this recently to replace the Vectra Elite estate as badly missed my series 2 TD5 Discovery. Needed an auto as my clutch leg was suffering in traffic due to cellulitus issues in both legs over the years. So got a very happy place to be on the daily commute. No more leg cramps, bad back is now cosseted by the leather armchairs! So it's a Discovery 3 HSE auto with just about every extra going as was owned by a Land Rover Jaguar Director, has heaps of history and bills to prove. Perfect for my three Dalmatians and the 25' caravan. Need to buy a ramp for the dogs as it's a bit high for the lazy buggers! :D
Hi its been a while but I thought I would post up the latest addition to my fleet. OK so its not a custom car or supercar etc. but everytime I go out in it I can gaurantee being asked about its history, what its like to drive and generally people lusting after one! des photos
Well when I say new I mean new to me. Just picked it up this weekend Mercedes 300 CE - 24 Coupe Limited Edition Nice little ride, needs some work doing to it but it seemed cheap enough at £2700. Guy said it might be a Carat Duchelet but not sure about proving that but never mind. It will keep me going till I get the Capri finished.
Hey All. Finally making the jump over to the Audi side, with this 2006 37'000 mile Audi RS4 (B7) Saloon. Having had the W8 for yonks, the dim-witted Haldex system on the R36 irritated me from day one. The more I drive it, the more it annoys me. Also, while the R36 is quick, I fancy even more POWER! Problem is, I keep the W8 too and have to tax/insure/maintain it to quench my thirst for a big noisy 8 cylinder engine. The R36's VR6 is somewhat mute and just drones with anything but a stock exhaust on it. The RS4 has more power, has the torsen permanent 4wd I like (rear bias on the Audi actually, as opposed to 50/50 on the W8) and produces an epic exhaust note. It's both cars in one - plus some  .. and naturally I...
Ok, first impressions . . Very nice :) not built quite as well as the beemer but overall not bad. The engine (136bhp Diesel) is very responsive and the handling is very impressive. Interior is nice and solid, seats are very comfortable. Anyway, the photos . . . It looks very aggressive here !! :amazed: not bad from side . . . not sure from the back . . but I like the interior !!
As a few of you know we've been expecting our first baby and at 9:13am this morning (27/02/09) little Lucy-Jane came into the world. She is 3 weeks early but very healthy and fully developed. Both mother and baby are doing well. Lianne is in over night of course and should be back home tomorrow. Here's my baby girl:- I'll get a couple more shots when shes back home and settled. I'm sooooo happy, and it looks like I got the new car just in time lmao. Almsot as if she knew lol. Cheers BAD63R
This is my old car, a ford Sportka 1.6. Coilovers, 300mm brake conversion, lightweight alloys, a few engine mods, stripped out interior. This was one fun car to drive. Handleing was insane. Sometimes wish i hadnt got rid:sad2:, but i wanted more power!:toung: It stopped too quick though! Lol With my lasses ST, This is my current car. With our lasses ST. Mines the blue one. Thats when they were both standard. They are now 180 and 170 BHP beasts. Ill get some updated ones soon. Hope u like.
thought i would let peoples know what i am going to be picking up by friday hopefully (if the loan goes through) will be resprayed once I pick it up, will post up pics of after the spray job. its a honda NSR125 2001 and i will be posting up the car buy the end of the month :) hopefully will either be a A41.8t or Civic 1.6vtecB16A2 (all depends on the insurance thing) i know the civic is around 900.
....with my mates WIP 399hp Cossie'd Mk2 Escort, and another mates newly acquired slow-as-fook what-the-hell-is-that-front-bumper S15 Type R (basic mods Circa 260-270hp). Turned the boost controller back up as 22psi is JUST about useable on OTR now, whereas last weekend the RS would spin up in 4th on WOT  Took a few snaps on the phone for prosperitys sake: Only cleaned the RS last night too and it's bloody filthy! S15 is soon to have new wheels with some nice dish on the rear, and a standard/Aero front bumper plus some more boost so it doesn't keep getting in the way  All the Escort needs is a better paint job, rear diff plus better tyres and it's practically finished. Silly quick though, just plain...
Hi all :) The icelandic Ford Mustang Owners Club & the Icelandic Drag Racing Club held an open day for U.S.A cars on the Drag Strip. BE AWARE I am a total NOOB at taking pictures at the strip !!! Well some of you might have seen my car in the other threads.. Here is a reminder of what it used to look like.. She stayed almost standard for around a year, and then at the French Car Show I decided that I wanted to change a few bits.. Here is how she looks now.. You can see for yourself most of the exterior mods.. The wheels have been refurbed and sprayed a colour which is between gloss black and a graphite colour.. I think this works well becuase in dark conditions it looks black, but they shine amazingly in the light. In these pics you can also see my new 266mm brakes which JUST squeeze under those tiny rims! She has also been lowered on 30mm Eibach springs just to keep the ride...
Hi Everyone... Just joined up this eveing, and thought i'd show you what i currently drive, and have driven.. Hope you all enjoy.. My Current Wheels, a 1998(R) Volvo V40 T4, 200bhp Turbo, she's pretty quick. My old work car until someone stole it!!! This was fun, my 1993 Volvo 850 T5 Auto.. And then there was my Vectra C, which started off looking like this.. And ended up looking like this... Hope you've all enjoyed my little trip down memory lane, and i shall enjoy looking at pictures of what you all drive in oher threads..
I saw this at the Midland Game Fair this afternoon, at first I thought it was a Aston Martin Rapide but it's not, then i thought it may be a kit car based on a Nissan (see the Z on the front flank). Now I just don't know! Can anyone shed some light on this car for me please? :embarrest:

Met one of your guys today at BHP performance show, although I've forgotten your name, sorry. A bit about me I'm 21 and from London and drive a Satin Black Renault Megane, any questions feel free to ask Start of witha practice spray - a wing is good. Build up the paint in layers. I used about 15 spray tins of paint in the end I belive When it comes to removing the bumper it would depend on the car, I discovered that after removing all of mine, I didnt need to but for some cars, you would need to, I removed the bumpers, the bonnet and the front two wings, and then masked up everything else, when I done the car I didn't need to do any paint prep as the paintwork was only 3 years old, so I knew it was in perfect...
