Wow. Never seen on one of these. Holden seems to be doing several platforms for cars here in the states. I love that color. I want to paint my next project that color.

I like it, nice. I wish i could keep chromes looking good over here, no chance though, unless i only put them on for the occasional week-end.

Waynne...The girl has cost me a pretty packet as it stands in the pictures...That was rebuild no 4...and the final costing was around the $130,000 mark...:blink:...
This girl was my divorce present to myself......My only true love...:love:
Wheels mate are pretty easy to keep clean...Not a big dish and flat...all it requires is a soaping and wipe over...

Hey Country Bumpkin...I should have taken photo's of her when she was dirty and covered in mud...Yes...I do alot of country driving with her...even dirt roads...not scared to use it as she was built to be a road car not a cotton wool trailered show car......

Update on Rebuild No 5 All...
Well i havent been on for a long time and the pictures will tell you why...
Alot of thought and money has gone into this rebuild and i want this to be the most unique ute (pick up) ever customised...
Hope you like what you see...and would love the feedback...whether good or bad...

The Beginning of the build...

The arrival of the new front bumper bar...Moulding a 2008 VE HSV Commodore (Pontiac G8 to the oversea's folk) front bumper to a 2004 Commodore...Total Hours consumed...80 hours to modify...also fitted a 2006 Holden Statesman Grille (the Rolls Royce of Holden built in Aust)...

The above picture is a blending of new with old...

Final fitment before the full fibreglassing...

What it looks like before the grille is fitted...

Everything is straight...Completed raw finish of the completed unit...

Primed and completed...

Out with the old...in with the new...

The completed unit...excuse the blocks of wood......was waiting on the gas struts and new remote actuators to arrive...

The Tailgate...suicide style...

Tailgate needs to be cut straight for it to open...They have a curved edge and will smash the taillight every time it would be opened...So the only solution...Modify it...

Tailgate removed and ready for the new process...

Ends of the tailgate tack welded in place ready for the full weld and metal finish...

The completed raw finish look...

50 x 50 square tubing welded and braced to stop the tailgate sagging when opened...

She works...
