Hi all, it's been quite a while since I posted an update for my on-going project. I haven't actually done a whole lot recently due to lack of funds and I would have taken more pics but the weather hasn't exactly been great lately . Since the last update I have gone EK9 with the grill and lights. I've also got HIDs fitted which I now think everyone on here should do as they are great! The rims are different from the last update due to a crash I had back in March time (some of you may remember). They're only temps though. I now have a Greddy Evo 2 exhaust (cat back) which replaced my old Powerflow. I have also fitted a aerial block off plate. Thank you to Hond-R for the work. Here are a couple pics: Next up is a set of...
Ok so here we go ford fiesta st start its life off as a normal day to day car then someone bright idea the other halfs to change the hell out of it lol hmmmm!! Good idea or not we find out one day! So this is how this little fez started Plain jane. Then the 8.5mm magneco leads are fitted along with the K&N induction kit and piper cat back and also lowered on eibachs and the front and rear strut braces are put in and the new rs7 put on her and then the mongoose flexi pipe. Upgraded breaks, Greenstuff pads and Bonnet raisers. She went off for some graphics to be done. And then bang engine blew up piston straight through the engine and after being stuck on the M25 with not a happy other half as for once I was not driving lol! we got...
Hi guys. This is a car I have been wanting for a long time, I had the L6 but I never liked it engine wise. My brother traded a Nissan Patrol for this and I bought it from him. What we are looking at here is a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4.7L V8 (who cares about fuel price!) with 177000km's on the clock. The paint is not the best in the world with some deep marks on both the front and back of the car, loads of RDS's and loads of swirlmarks. It will be fixed soon, hopefully in the next week or 2. Only 2 now, I'll take it out for a photoshoot when I'm finished detailing it :) The Skoda still lives with me but I'm trying to sell it, If I can't I'll be fixing it's paint in the winter and taking the plates off! :)
right everyone after the sale of the previous car fell through (less said the better) :wall: i had a great bit of luck and dropped on this motor from a cracking guy from up cumbria :god: its totally different spec wise to the white one i was going to get and i actually prefer that if im honest as its a lovely base to make a great car from and not ruin the oe looks/charm of it too much. :top: its a 1990 car in red totally standard engine wise apart from a receipt for some form of hybrid turbo stainless system lowered suspension had a resto a few years ago and is in great shape nice and solid in all the usual areas. also had an engine rebuild a few years ago the car has not been on the road since 2014 but the current owner took the car...
Hello, I'm Stuart from norf essex and these are my my rides. The minor is in the process of being cut up ready to have the bulkhead and rear floor from the porsche welded in. The Porsche is sitting waiting to be stripped and cut up to donate organs forthe hybrid Minor. The Yank is a 1970 Plymouth Sport Satellite 318Cu-in (5211cc) V8 with Edelbrock performer intake manifold and Holley 600cfm secondary vac carburettor. It is also awaiting the fitment of a competition camshaft and 4-branch exhaust manifolds. And yes I know the General Lee was a Dodge charger and I have stickered up the wrong car. The Rover 2200sc is completley standard and original and is staying that way.
Hey, only just joined up to the site, ive got a VW polo but since looking at all the posibilities im looking into buying a MK3 Golf TDI to start my project. Just curious as to any pointers and tips anyone could give me as this will be my first project and would rather avoid newbie mistakes if possible :P Any comments will be appreciated
I painted the interior of my mitsubishi lancer 2004 ... and after that i repainted it with other different colors ... these pictures show the old dashboard the new dashboard i still didnt take pictures of it but its awesome ... Aup! Just sold my little baby!!! Which was alot harder to do then realised even though i had my new phat 172 Cup parked at the side of it. These little cars are great fun and with little changes can be quite surprising at times!!! When i bought the car it was in a sorry state but with lots of TLC the car seemed to sit in a legue of its own. Here are sum photo's of her: http://www.torquecars.com/forums/album.php?albumid=23
But i do still have the Calli so don't worry, I'm not gettin rid of the old gal' just yet lol. Ok then people, here she is. Me and my missus bought it as she was looking for a new car but couldn't afford the whole lot. It's mint, it's got FVSH, it's 6 years old with just under 70,000 on the clock and got it for £1250. It's a 2.0 SRi (2.0 was easier for the missus to insure) and running 154bhp according to it's RR resaults. It has the prefacelift GSi front bumper and not sure what side skirts lol. It came with the 5 spoke GSi wheels but changed them for the OZ Super T GT's from my Calibra. It's had a couple of bits done but nothing which would harm the car in the long run such as K&N panel filter, cold air feed, sensible...
Just discovered this great forum, so I'll be looking for ideas to make my BMW 325xi more fun to drive. It's a 5 speed with all wheel drive, so the first order of business is to change all the fluids. I'm trying to find commercial equivalents to proprietary BMW fluids. I'm inclined to believe that high quality synthetic 75W90 gear oil can go in the trans, differentials and the transfer case. My goal is to make this car last for a long time! Cheers!
Hey All. Took the new-look wrapped 'ssat to GTi Spring Festival 2010 and couldn't resist a few 1/4 mile passes: > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B6cihc1WOZ0 > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0wYO-MCKIik My best of the day was a 13.219 sec I *know* I could have got into the 13.1's if only I was carrying less fuel. Had just over a 1/3 of a tank. Royally messed up my calculations as to how much fuel I would need to get there this morning. Couple of photos from the official track photographer:
Ok, first impressions . . Very nice :) not built quite as well as the beemer but overall not bad. The engine (136bhp Diesel) is very responsive and the handling is very impressive. Interior is nice and solid, seats are very comfortable. Anyway, the photos . . . It looks very aggressive here !! :amazed: not bad from side . . . not sure from the back . . but I like the interior !!
My 1.8 16v Corrado soon to be modded :D My 1966 VW 13 Window R/H/Drive Deluxe Splitscreen Camper 1 of only 5 13 Window right hookers in the country of which only 2 are on the road and this is 1 of them  shis my pride and joy  She is lowered, irs'd,running on empi5s,being pushed by a 1600cc motor! now sponsored! ie gave me £1k to paint her up  Rainbow fleck paint goes wappy in the sun :D hopefully see ya around, and look out for me @ the dub shows
Hi All well i am now able to post some images. i have been into improving cars a while and started with a little fiesta was standard when i got it and this is it when i got rid. after this i moved onto a ford escort cabby 1.6, i done the same again with it, changed the wheels, lower, de-cat, droped a better z-tec engine in and it looked like this. then when this one had to go i was thinking about whats next? so i got a rs2000, long list already done to it, was running 180bhp and the car drove like a dream now i have my son and a home etc to worry about so i now have this motor :)
Hi its been a while but I thought I would post up the latest addition to my fleet. OK so its not a custom car or supercar etc. but everytime I go out in it I can gaurantee being asked about its history, what its like to drive and generally people lusting after one! des photos

It's a sunny day, and I decided to wash my car. Autoglym is brilliant stuff... I had to take a picture Click the photo for a full sized view So the question is: which car shampoo and polish do you use? :-) **EDIT** Seeing as someone is bound to ask: the car behind it is a Citroen C5 estate
Hi guys. As a couple of you may have noticed in a couple of recent posts that I'm now driving a Mk2 ZS180. Even over all the cars I've had, and the £1000's that have been spent over the years improving the handling, this is by far the best car I've ever driven. I know that may sound daft considering it's an MG, but the boffins at Longbridge really knew what they were doing when they made this car. There is so much that MG changed about the chassis etc from the regular Rover 45/Civic MB. Also the little gismo they made for the inlet manifold by far make the 180bhp in standard form feel a lot fast with a standard 0-60 of 7 seconds and for a big car designed over 13 years ago, is pretty impressive for how little power it has. But it's...
As a few of you know we've been expecting our first baby and at 9:13am this morning (27/02/09) little Lucy-Jane came into the world. She is 3 weeks early but very healthy and fully developed. Both mother and baby are doing well. Lianne is in over night of course and should be back home tomorrow. Here's my baby girl:- I'll get a couple more shots when shes back home and settled. I'm sooooo happy, and it looks like I got the new car just in time lmao. Almsot as if she knew lol. Cheers BAD63R
Mmh, maybe i should post some progress on the car. And what i've been doing, was going to leave it for a while till i had done a lot of stuff, but oh well, ill post it now. Here she is stock standard after i got her: Then i got the badges off Now for the bigger change ;): New alloys :D
Hi guys. As i'm sure a few of have read, i have the car booked for some toys and a rolling road setion. Well in the mean time i've been buying up the extra toys that I could without buying them through the tuning company. What I have so far comprises of:- New Samco piping for the Blow off Valve. New Samco cuplink for the Air Intake pipe. New Samco Water hoses. New Samco Braded Fuel lines. A few stickers which include Blitz, HKS Power and the Tuning company I use Xspec. Also and this is the one I can't wait for, is a sheet of sticky back carbon fibre. It's no thicker than a sheet of vinyl, woven like true carbon fibre and becasue I already have a light weight bonnet from Japan, I dont need to worry about just buying a carbon fibre...
Sold the Antara and the MGF as the latter was getting on and getting out was not very graceful! Plus with our first grandchild the wife needed more seats! So pooled the money together and bought two decent cars. The wife has now got an Audi A4 3.0 V6 Cabriolet S-Line, specced by myself and I have an A6 Avant which is pretty much S6 spec. Her car is better than mine! Just sold the T16 MG ZS to a fellow MG club member as needed the room. Still have the blue MK1 ZS. The S6 is a bit noisy, nice comfy ride and it's surprising how well it holds its own considering it is 18 years old! |B

hi everybody, it was nice to get a message from the moderator Wayne who wondered where I was since no one heard from me in a long while. It is nice to be missed. So here I am, been busy building my 88 Jaguar XJS, some modifications and alot of new parts. Sounds like a mean machine now with straight pipes. I'll post some more pics.
S'alright. Feels proper weird after driving the GT everywhere for so long. When I first got in it the gearstick throw seemed MASSIVE and reet sloppy because I'm used to my short-shifter. It feels proper slow atm too  Steering though is beautifully weighted, has the best steering of any car I've ever driven. Comortable and has that "big car" feel, dead quiet and refined. 60mpg, £35 a year tax and cheap insurance isn't too bad either. Half-leathers, A/C, alloys, electric everything blah blah.
Please post pics of your ride here. Keep the file size smaller. If you can't upload your photos to some webspace they may be emailed to :- w e b m a s t e r @ t o r q u e c a r s . c o m (Remove spaces.) Please include a description of work done to your car or planned modifications so we can all compare notes.
Hi All, Stumbled across the site whilst reading a write up on a V6 Mk1 Astra. Well I also have a Mk1 Astra running a chipped 2.0 16v Turbo (C20LET) and a 6 speed box (F28 ) giving 272BHP. Full custom made leather interior too :) The car had a ground up restoration over the last 18 months (a re shell of my old one) and now looks like this. Hope you like
