Right thought it would be a good idea to start one of these just to give you all and idea on what i am doing with my car and get opinions and ideas, wont be as in depth as some others who are rebuilding entire cars but should be enough for people to view and enjoy. I will be posting pictures up in the next few days when i have an hour to spare. Including what i have done to the car already and maybe a little sneak preview of my allloy project. Deffinate plans for the future: Finish alloys Spray exhaust and fuel cap fibre glass sub enclosure New head and tail lights Maybe plans for the future: Rear splitter Exhaust sytem (just want to add a little rumble) Tinted Windows Suggested light engine mods (seeing as i...
Hey chaps been looking through some old photos i dug out from the attic found some right gems. My old mans Triumph 2000 CC car it was his pride and joy was member of the car club and everything he changed the paint from original brown to a metallic blue. Does anyone have any images they remember growin up around a certain car? I used to specifically Remember the car having a Overdrive button on it haha
I went to Prescott today to the Midsummer speed fest practice, I'll post pics of that tomorrow ;) However the showstopper for me was this very special Split screen VW. The only original panel is the front one! The whole chassis is custom fabricated... well actually everything is custom fabricated! It's running a 911 engine which I think the guy said it's running about 280bhp. It's sitting on airbag suspension & is built to dragstrip regs, although it's not seen any action yet. Oh & it's road legal. XD All I need is a pot of gold to buy it now. ^.^
I keep mentioning Bod, my old Smart. So I thought I'd put some pic's up of it, sadly I've lost the folder with the photo's, I think I left it on my old lap top. :( So I've had to search for some on the net & here they are. The Specs: Newly built engine raised from 600cc to 700cc Custom Re-map by RedDot racing. Brabus Cam & Clutch Larger Roadster turbo (still a wee little turbo ) Janspeed polished ally intercooler pipes Brabus TIK pipe K&N induction kit Custom made Stainless Steel 'Stealth' exhaust with sports cat Bilstein Streetline springs & dampers RedDot Racing Brake pads & Discs Roadster deep dish steel wheels (a second pair of rears were going to go on the front to improve the track width before the car died) Rear panels...
Hello everyone. I am originally from Lithuania, but residing now in Denmark where i have my sweet little car detailing shop and well i have just recently become a BMW fan.. Big time! Now a bit of Prologue: So i have been searching for a bmw e30 for 2 weeks. Surprisingly it become a sort of a challenge to even buy one, as here in Denmark every1 started to sweep them like crazy. Somebody puts one for sale, you call a man in the morning and it is allready sold. And that repeated at least 10 times during 2 weeks. Crazy isn't? So somehow a friend of mine stumbled upon a very nice e30 which was a coupe and that's how i ended up owning my first proper car (i had some old Opel astra hatch before which was horrible ). Funny thing is...
So with the Punto being a catastrophic MoT failure way back at the start of last year and the Civic going nowhere for ages (and to be honest not being quite what I wanted, plus the panels needed some TLC before I could start properly doing any mods) I've done something maybe a little bit silly and bought something else. I got this instead: Notice how it comes pre-loaded with Peugeot SP kit including wheel arch extensions, front grill and spoiler? Starting out with a 205, I guess I've always been more into French hatches, complete with all their quirks.
....with my mates WIP 399hp Cossie'd Mk2 Escort, and another mates newly acquired slow-as-fook what-the-hell-is-that-front-bumper S15 Type R (basic mods Circa 260-270hp). Turned the boost controller back up as 22psi is JUST about useable on OTR now, whereas last weekend the RS would spin up in 4th on WOT  Took a few snaps on the phone for prosperitys sake: Only cleaned the RS last night too and it's bloody filthy! S15 is soon to have new wheels with some nice dish on the rear, and a standard/Aero front bumper plus some more boost so it doesn't keep getting in the way  All the Escort needs is a better paint job, rear diff plus better tyres and it's practically finished. Silly quick though, just plain...
Todays standard screen resolution is 1024x768 pixels. Some use higher res, some use lower, but this seems to be the most used res. When using a BB such as this with this screen res, the largest you want to upload a picture is 800pixels wide, as otherwise the screen is widened and you have to scroll along to see the pic, and also any text posts after it aswell - which is not fun! So bear in mid when resizing your pics, not to go wider than 800 pixels wide! Now, for you folk with graphics programmes such as Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro (personally I use PSP7) resizing is easy. Just open that programme, open the pic(s) you want to resize and go to your RESIZE option. With most of these programmes you can choose a percentage or a pixel...
Give the car a detail the other day and decided to go for pics. Over the winter I hope to continue the front rub strip across the number plate recess, Schmidt Modern Lines 3pc (going to try to get bigger dishes so i can run 9.5/10 at the rear, Porsche Tombstones and then retrim them in leather and alcantara with rear bench to match. Clio 197 steering wheel. There is currently a group buy for bagyard stuff on a local forum so i may purchase the management for the airride. cheers for reading :D

Cracking show, the weather went awesome after a bit and was too engrossed in everything that was going on to take loads of pics (hence no pics of the hillclimbing runs or Brooklands motor museum) so I put the camera back in the car after a while. Let's begin with some Integrale madness while the other pics upload.
Hi . New to the site but loved the artical. Iam in the throws of rebuilding a AUM engine to go in my 150 TT. I intend to up grade it futher, as the engine in the car at the moment has already been re-mapped. Great result from the re-map, but like most of us I want more, so now have a second AUM enginesitting on the bench to play with. Having read the article, am I right in saying all 1.8t engines have the same bore and stroke dimensions, ie 81mm bore and 144mm stroke. I know the AUM has 19mm gudgen pins and are a weak point in the engine along with the con rods. SO ! I intend to buy to good "H" section rods, but wonder if I can fit BAM pistons. What Ya reckon guys ? Regards Bill

Well as the misses is now only 3 weeks away from having our baby, I thought it was time to move on from the Scooby and be a little more sensible for a the next 18 months-2years. So I decided to get rid of the scooby and get a bit more of a realistic family car but still has 200bhp Well i''ve come back to the Vauxhall world once again lol. So without any further ado heres my new motor. Well pleased with it. Absolutly mint, great service history, mint interior and with having a Billet flywheel it really does go well. Magnex back box which i'm gonna swap over for a new double d one. Cone filter which i've already reaplaced with a K&N panel filter and has actually made it accelrate quicker, so the same thing happened here as what...

Cant post pics yet (under 10 posts) so a brief spec as I dont want to make my first post an essay Tuned RB26DETT engine dynod at 413 bhp with 340 ftlbs of tourque at 3500 rpm. Nismo body kit and recaro interior, Uprated brakes , suspension and steering .etc. Anyway Im now off to look at the rest of the site. Now have 10 posts so here are some pics

Hi guy's, I have a 306 1.8 16v petrol meridian and am interested in putting a turbo on it or maybe a supercharger. i have no idea how to do either of these but i know i have the space under the bonnet. At the moment its pushing out 120bhp with its induction kit fitted. Any suggestions? Regards Joe
Hi guys after what has been around 6-7 years i have finally got myself back into 206 ownership. our last gti was sold on as we were expecting our first child so something a tad more practical was required. anyway iv had an itch to get into trackdays for a while so started the search or something suitable and not bank breaking to purchase, straight away i just thought id love track a 206 and within 48 hours i had fount a motor under an hour away and at a good price. so today i headed out did all the relevant checks and struck a deal or £1100 i will be collecting the car next weekend and then the fun can begin. got alot of plans in the pipeline which will see it into a very capable and fun track car, it will certainly be staying n/a...
Hi everyone looking for some advice, having trouble with rear calipers on my mondeo st tdci, put recon ones on a year ago and the hand brake mechanism is starting to stiffen up causing a lot of bother, this is the second set i have fitted, this is a common fault on the mk3 mondeo and i was looking for some advice to see if there was another ford caliper that will sort this problem out. Any advice would be very much appreciated many thanks Caffer.
hi everyone me and the wife recently purchased our first joint car together its a 2001 206 gti 138 in moonstone silver, has 107k on the clocks and is a pretty tidy car seeing as its 13 years old since purchasing a couple of weeks ago i have done the following new front discs and pads sportex oval back box new oe centre section k&n panel filter new oil and filter new plugs removed and cleaned throttle bodie and refitted the car is really good to drive it feels well balanced and has a very strong torquey 2.0 16v engine in there, but anyone that knows about this engine knows that it was restricted quite a bit by peugeot themselves mainly by a terrible inlet manifold, crappy exhaust manifold which also rattles like...
Hi and thanks for looking ! Just thought id share the engine note of a Busso V6 combined with a supasprint exhaust. The filming is pretty bad im sorry to say, your better off skipping to about 1 min through as i think starting the car with the cam inside, almost blew the mic ! It sounds much better when going, the rasp from the exhaust is awesome through tunnels... But i dont know if i will eventually replace it so any opinions on it are welcome ! Hope you like it :P

1988 Renault 9 Here are some pictures of my Renault 9! Now i'm only 17 so it's older than me! In good nick though =] What do you think? =] The only thing I might change are the reg plates. They look a bit old, but my dad says the fact that they have the original dealer's name on each one means something like it shows there's been no major front or rear end damage? I don't know. Either way, I may change them. Oh and also the old stickers in the back window! A job that I keep forgetting about! Yep, there it is =]
I really appreciate everyone's enthusiasm on my Rhythm fabrication thread. That really shows the passion you guys have for not only your projects underway in your garages but as well as other members' rides. Thanks very much. I had mentioned that I wanted to share a new project vehicle that was in progress. Like the first vehicle build, it's something that both my dad and I are involved with...I wouldn't have it any other way. The Idea Rhythm was in the final stages of assembly and as crazy as it sounds in the back of my mind I found myself already tossing around the idea of creating a second mid-engine vehicle. However, taking into account what had been learned over the course of the building Rhythm, I decided that if and when...
