C:\Documents and Settings\Adam\My Documents\My Pictures\SXI\IMGP0360.JPG C:\Documents and Settings\Adam\My Documents\My Pictures\SXI\IMGP0361.JPG both are pictures of the 6'' x 9''s i fitted due to their being 2 great holes in the parcel shelf. i had to make mdf mounts first and then cover it with faux leather, as the holes were too big in some areas.
Hi guy's, I have a 306 1.8 16v petrol meridian and am interested in putting a turbo on it or maybe a supercharger. i have no idea how to do either of these but i know i have the space under the bonnet. At the moment its pushing out 120bhp with its induction kit fitted. Any suggestions? Regards Joe
Here's some pics of my gto tt , Its slowly getting to the condition that i want , So far its had the old cloth on the seats removed and replaced with leatherette , full 3" custom made exhaust , old electric shocks and springs changed to avo chassis dynamic springs and kyb adjustable shocks , goodridge brake hoses and rossini drilled and grooved discs , front and rear strut braces and a wee bit of engine polishing , oh and of course a turbo upgrade from the old 9bs to 13t , plus 19" alloys . I just need some piping to install my fmic and wire in the avc-r boost guage .. John
Here's some photos of the G60 I had a few years back. I would recommend one to anyone. It was amazing to drive. It was running 210bhp with a standard pulley. It sounded amazing with the combo of a stage 4 charger and a supersprint exhaust !! It was a bit unpractical for going up and down the motorway each day though especially being left hand drive. But it was fun !!
Took the beasty a little ride out this morning to see if i could clear her lungs a bit after the ecu hadn't been connected for a while hehe (or never since the turbo went in lol). Well i set off with it running the same as it was but marginally better with not much boost but better revving. Then just after i started to record this vid she let loose, free'd everything up and shot into over boost like there was no tomorrow lmao. You will see when i floor it in 2nd what happens next, put it this way, she was spinning in 5th gear  Ok, please forgive the un-steadyness as i had to tape the phone to my hand so I could drive safely ;) Here goes:-...
OK had to post a few pics of her..... Mazda MX3 V6 1.8 When I got her she was in Siht state, loads of electrical faults and paintwork was in tatters. Lots of damn hard work, T-cut and swearing and I finaly got her perfect. Stil a few more things I want to do but so far so good. Modifications include Fox alloys Cold Air Induction New exhaust system Ice blue headlights Ground Wire Kit Painted calipers Polished cam cover Pioneer ICE
My car - Tiger Cub. Bought it some time ago - it had a standard 2 litre Pinto which I took out and replaced with a tuned 2 litre Pinto. Purchased from a reliable source the engine has been in about a year now. Very quick off the mark - right up my street. Haven't done a lot to it apart from buying some wheels and respraying them myself. I absolutely love the car BUT it now it has a rival in the shape of a Raffo Belva 2 litre Zetec. Cost me an arm and a leg - had to part exchange the wife to get it but unfortunately I can't keep both cars however much I'd like to so the Tiger Cub will very soon be up for sale. Will post photos of the new car as soon as I get my greasy mitts on it. Been lurking around the site for some time but now have...
Well here is my little baby Ive done pretty much all i wanted with the body, morretts, 17" rims and a re spray. For my next project this is the XU10 J2T low pressure turbo engine that will be going into it eventualy once ive rebuilt it. rebuilt lots of engines, its what keeps me sane:lol: but never really got into tuning so when the time comes im hoping for a little guidance. D
Hi guys. This is a car I have been wanting for a long time, I had the L6 but I never liked it engine wise. My brother traded a Nissan Patrol for this and I bought it from him. What we are looking at here is a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4.7L V8 (who cares about fuel price!) with 177000km's on the clock. The paint is not the best in the world with some deep marks on both the front and back of the car, loads of RDS's and loads of swirlmarks. It will be fixed soon, hopefully in the next week or 2. Only 2 now, I'll take it out for a photoshoot when I'm finished detailing it :) The Skoda still lives with me but I'm trying to sell it, If I can't I'll be fixing it's paint in the winter and taking the plates off! :)
Hey, only just joined up to the site, ive got a VW polo but since looking at all the posibilities im looking into buying a MK3 Golf TDI to start my project. Just curious as to any pointers and tips anyone could give me as this will be my first project and would rather avoid newbie mistakes if possible :P Any comments will be appreciated
Aup! Just sold my little baby!!! Which was alot harder to do then realised even though i had my new phat 172 Cup parked at the side of it. These little cars are great fun and with little changes can be quite surprising at times!!! When i bought the car it was in a sorry state but with lots of TLC the car seemed to sit in a legue of its own. Here are sum photo's of her: http://www.torquecars.com/forums/album.php?albumid=23

Hi and thanks for looking ! Just thought id share the engine note of a Busso V6 combined with a supasprint exhaust. The filming is pretty bad im sorry to say, your better off skipping to about 1 min through as i think starting the car with the cam inside, almost blew the mic ! It sounds much better when going, the rasp from the exhaust is awesome through tunnels... But i dont know if i will eventually replace it so any opinions on it are welcome ! Hope you like it :P
I thought id put these in the right place its a 1998 volvo v70r front wheel drive version with manual gearbox (rare) ive had it a year and done quite alot to it in the time i've had it with more to come, should be running around 330bhp at the minute. This is the car that has spawned my i think slightly unhealthy love of the Mx5 1998 and Previous, It is a 1.6i Eurons Roadster, I brought it in Australia and this is the car i taught my self to drift and slight around in on the dirt tracks in the country, that should be added to everyones bucket list, Rear wheel drive car on perfectly flat dirt roads. :) Couldnt figure out how to post on here so i have included a link :D http://img225.imageshack.us/img225/8113/mx5total.jpg

Thanks to my mother and wifes big mouths i got asked to go over my mums bosses car. No full pics of the car at the start but it didnt look to bad and had a decent shine to it. yeah me thinks  Car was hosed down then 2 bucket cleaned Car felt pretty clean and smooth. as i had a little bit of clay handy i rub it over the bonnet. came back very dirty. so the whole car was treated with Megs clay using quick detailer as a lube Nice and Clean Drivers door alone The car was washed again quickly then towel dried Then onto inspection - only took pics of the bonnet as the sun was nice and bright So on with the polishing Megs #83 on a LC green pad - Heavy polishing - and set to...
Alrite lads so this is the car I am all set to buy its just round the corner from me I have test driven it and got to say its brilliant. Shame its FWD for a scooby was hoping for AWD but I will happily settle so I can brag I have a Scooby! :D for £400 you can't go wrong mechanically brilliant to be on the safe side I am replacing a few bits and changing the Oil and I have to patch up a dink on the rear bumper!
sold the scoob yesterday (making almost a 100% profit lol) and went straight down to get this. 3.0L V6 GLS model so has all the toys :) Just give her a wash and wax so heres the pics, Plans are are graphics (of course lol) Walnut dash is getting colourcoded blue to match bodywork Thinking about colour coding the full bottom half of the car so its all blue
Mmh, maybe i should post some progress on the car. And what i've been doing, was going to leave it for a while till i had done a lot of stuff, but oh well, ill post it now. Here she is stock standard after i got her: Then i got the badges off Now for the bigger change ;): New alloys :D
While driving home from work today I stopped at a set of traffic lights, ahead of me was about 10 or so cars. When the lights changed we pulled away, about 300 yards further ahead lying in the road was a broken lump of farm equipment, a 4 foot bar of steel that looked like the Jolly Green Giant's nit comb. If you hit it, it would really have spoilt your day. What surprised me was that no one stopped to move it they just drove round it. It took me about a minute out of my journey to find a safe place to pull over & move the nit comb out of harm. This isn't the first time it's happened to me either, what I don't understand is why people are happy to drive around, leave hazards in the road & carry on driving?
Sold the Antara and the MGF as the latter was getting on and getting out was not very graceful! Plus with our first grandchild the wife needed more seats! So pooled the money together and bought two decent cars. The wife has now got an Audi A4 3.0 V6 Cabriolet S-Line, specced by myself and I have an A6 Avant which is pretty much S6 spec. Her car is better than mine! Just sold the T16 MG ZS to a fellow MG club member as needed the room. Still have the blue MK1 ZS. The S6 is a bit noisy, nice comfy ride and it's surprising how well it holds its own considering it is 18 years old! |B
