What is brake fade and what causes brake fade?
This phenomenon known as brake fade can be quite unexpected and lethal and I would hazard a guess that 1 in 4 cars are likely to experience brake fade to some degree. Brake fade manifests itself by a spongy feel on the pedal and little or no braking force. Do not confuse brake fade with bad brakes or a mechanical fault as it applies to brake systems in relatively good condition.
High performance sports exhausts systems.TorqueCars will review sports exhausts and exhuast design as they are very popular modifications, but sadly many mistakes are made.
The job of the exhaust is to break up the sound pulse from the engine, muffling the sound and allowing the exhaust gases to escape efficiently.
Connecting RodsWe look at the pros and cons of I and H bean conrods, the various materials used from Titanium, Aluminum, and Steel and discuss the best options for your car tuning project.
A performance engine requires optimum designed internal pistons, crankshafts and of course high performing conrods.
We look at how spoilers work? We also explain the difference between a spoiler and a wing. Spoilers are generally closer to the body of the car and help diffuse the air.
Wings are mounted much higher up and have an aerodynamic effect of creating downforce
