I don't think we should underestimate the performance of a modern 4 wheel drive car in corners. Even really big cars can be thrown around and give a fun rewarding drive. A lot in any case will depend on the skill of the driver and the tyre selection.

To be fair he's right. In the 911 Porsche have been engineering around having the engine in a bloody silly place for decades.
