TN, can you not jack the car up proper high then jack up the gearbox a bit, unbolt it and use the jack to lower then wheel it from under the car? Are you sure you can't lift it? I'm not He-man and I can lift and carry my 1600 bottom end with all the internals in (with great difficulty I might add

I am planning on doing it with a jack buddy. I need an extra pair of hands to manuever it to get it out. There is very little space between the gearbox and the inner wing so it looks like it's going to be a very fiddly job indeed. I have no doubt that I could pick it up once it's out of the car. It's just trying to pick it up and move it whilst it's in the engine bay.

Suspension has been removed and I now know it's Apex.
Driveshaft came out real easy. I have had plenty of practice though changing them
Front seats are out.

I bet you have a bag of screws left over at the end.

I'll have more than one bag left mate cause i won't using the screws, bolts and nuts off the red one cause they will all be on the silver one.

I will be yes. It's a job I can't do alone and i'm having trouble getting someone to help me. I have a friend who's a mechanic but he's hard to get hold of also. I'm a bit stuck at the minute Waynne but it will get sorted soon enough.

I'm the same our kid, just stealing a few minutes here and there for a mess around, no time to have a proper go like.
Tell me about it buddy. Keep getting messed around as well by fools telling me they want this and that off the red one and not turning up an such.
