useful bit of kit

well after noticing that alot more manufacturers are using torx screws more often and the vag group use a triple square (xzn) bit i managed to source this bit of kit from amazon after alot of searching and personally think its a good price maybee usefull to a member on here

i discovered this the weekend mate i tried to undo the door lock bolts only to discover they are 8mm triple square bolts and the torx bits didnt fit properly :sad2: then to search and find that snap-on want $6 + p&p just for the 1 8mm bit thats why i think this bit of kit is well worth the money

yeah i think my security torx bits were around £9 for the set and that was with me getting vat free.
havent found the triple square bits what do they look like ?

Know what your on about now. thought they were spline sets. But going by the guide at the side you an see there a slight difference.

im guessing the spline bits will work but i dont have any of these either so i have ordered that set of amazon and as soon as they arrive i can get the door pannel off and see what needs replacing to get my window working again as i have tape holding my window up at the moment :sad2:
