Ressurecting old car models.

We have the New Mini, the New Beetle and the New Scirocco.

Which cars would you like to see brought back and updated? Would you prefer to see fresh new designs for cars?

I'd like Ford to bring back the Sierra Rs 500 and the Escort Cosworth... But with up to date stuff on......

Hey don't forget the Fiat 500, did anyone see the Race of Champions? 200bhp Abarth running there.

I can't think of that many worthy of making a 'come back' as it were, can tarnish a reputation, BMW ruined the Mini concept for me, they seemed to have missed the point there.

would definatly love to see the ford escort cossy brought back, not so much the sierra the capri is another id like to see

i would love to see the mk1 golf bought back into production by vw with uprated everthing if vw did that it would be the only barnd new car i would ever consider buying (unless i win the lottery) i know you can still get them in south africa but they only build them in 5 door

The new Mini is a BMW, the Beetle is a Golf with different panels and the Scriocco is only vaguely like the original. I get the feeling that in a lot of cases they are using the old name as it is familiar to buyers and hope that some of the success will rub off onto the new car (mind you, the old Scirocco was hardly a runaway success).

I heard a while ago that the CRX was making a come-back, but I've not heard anything since. I'd like to see that myself, too. Existing models are very expensive for what they are but I would imagine its down to insurance. They were quite nippy cars considering they were only 1.6 litres (good old V-TEC!), just as fast (if not faster) than a lot of their contempories with larger capacities, yet cheaper insurance nonetheless.

Thats a cool car. Have you seen the new Dodge Charger? Thats another sweet motor. I'd also like to see the Ford Rs200 to make a reappearance.

It's a cheeky prototype by the West Coast Customs boys. This 1's a 3 door but Dodge has only ever produced a 5 door. They Shortened it and chopped the roof down and also did all they strengthening invisible so it looks like it can from the factory.....

don't forget the capri, i did some drawings for the new capri how i imagine the new one.
also there's the new dodge challenger, the mustang, the new shelby cobra, the dodge charger.
instead of the escort cossie, there's the focus ST and the Focus RS.
