Perkins DI engine tuning question

good afternoon

i would like your help on one matter. Currently i have here in my garage a terex backhoe loader. This equipment has an engine from perkins model 1104 74.5 kw.

I need to adjust the turbo power output so that it can give me more power. We take from the internal waste gate 0.8 to 0.9 bar of pressure.

Any feedback will be very help full.

I have no knowledge of the Perkins DI engines apart from the 4 cyl ones employed by Rover and Leyland Sherpa.

You will probably be best served looking for agricultural or static diesel engine support.

i just need a simple thing regarding the turbo mod. how can i intervene on the internal waste gate and power up the engine. the system is very simple. plain mechanical one. no ecu attached. the torque of the equipment is very low. i need to rise it up a little bit.what else can i do. by agricultural standards i m OK. i want to experiment on this.

Simple, just bleed off some of the vacuum by any convenient means till you get the required boost pressure.

Thankyou! I was thinking along these lines. Presumably it's sensible to fit an air filter so that atmospheric dust is not drawn in.
