Do you have a favourite pub/restaurant to drive to?

Do you have your favourite pub which you drive to? Is it based on the drive or the quality of the food/drink?

I found myself selecting a place to eat based on how nice the roads were and how much of a drive it is.

Restaurant visits very rarely involve my driving as I cannot have a drink then. But, I do visit a couple of places for their lovely breakfasts. One is in Stapleford Abbotts Airfield in Essex (Sublime breakfast) and the other is the 7 Hotel Diner in Halstead in Kent.

Favourite local restaurant for good food is Cafe Vin Cinq in Rugby, they do this chateubriand for two for 65 quid and it is incredibly tasty.

Best pub for decent beer and good honest pub grub is The Smithy in Church Lawford.
