Turbocharging a 93 mr2 na?

I would like to add a turbo to the mr2 but its the na. Is it possible to safely add a turbo

would it not be cheaper to find and engine from mr2 turbo or even a gt4 as they use the same engines. would be cheaper than replacing everything?

^^^ I had no idea that the MR2 also came in a turbocharged version! :amazed:........

yeah they use the same engine as the gt4 but i can only imagine its a hand full all that power to the rear wheels and being so light
