track days

how many of you have been to a track day and has anyone been to the illustrious 'ring' in germany?
would you go the 370 miles to get to the ring?(thats from where i am in kent)
how hard is the ring to drive round fast compaired to other tracks in england?
does anyone know how much it is to fix an armco barrier if the worst does happern an you crash as you have to pay for it :amazed:

I'd also be curious to know if there is any demand for a track day? The barriers repair costs have been known to reach £7000 which is a bit steep plus you have to deal with the damage to your own car.

If you pass a car on the right you get reported to the police and there are fines for failing to report dirt on the road or driving whilst spilling a liquid on the track.
