Swerving to avoid stuff...

What obstacles have you had to swerve around on the motorway?

I've nearly hit a complete wheel and a bicycle. Thankfully I had a good idea what was around me and with some progressive braking and control managed to swerve round them.

I have failed to swerve around a Kamikaze pheasant though!

So what about you? Any near or not so near misses on the motorways at high speed?
 
I swerved to avoid hitting a canoe which had come off a roof. There was a bit of warning as the lashing ropes snapped and started to whip around first so I dropped back and was ready for it.

Sadly the car behind wasn't and it clipped their wing and took out their light.
