Summer time, soft top jealousy

Now that summer is here do you harbour any jealousy against soft top drivers?

I like the look of a soft top but have yet to enjoy a drive in one. The experience is always akin to sitting in a wind tunnel and getting sun burn! Do ragtops live up to the hype in your mind?

I have had convertibles before and I must say that I love them. The only reason I do not have one now is that the boot space on the models that I looked at was too small for the equipment that I carry on a daily basis.
