talk about doing something on the cheap! I really doubt sand paper will work on badly warped heads.

I have a GTR head that needs skimmimg dont know about half an hour I reckon it would take half a day

But to be fair the principle is right as long as the glass is thick enough

I've done that with a couple of shims before and the valve clearences were spot on. Would be interesting to see how long his headgasket lasts though!

Very unusual! Think I'll continue to leave my baby's upgrades in the hands of the professionals though

If anyone came to me with engine problems with that done I'd kick them up the road! Set it up and machine it properly, 16t milling machine, as if! Done plenty myself over the years.
