Longest time stuck in traffic

What is the longest time you've spent in a traffic jam without moving?

My record is about 4 hours during heavy snow in a car with a dodgy battery that wouldn't start again if I turned the engine off!

6 hrs in snow well 5 really cause an hour of that was spent in the pub for a toilet and refreshment break and the worst part is it was probably only 15 miles maximum:-(

A little under 4 hours for me on the M1 and to make it worse her indoors was with me :sad2: You would think I planned it the way she was going on :sad2: At one point, another word from her and I was going to drop her off on the hard shoulder

This is precisely why I never venture onto the motorway with anything less than a 3/4 tank of fuel, sweets, chocolates, biscuits and a bottle of mineral water located in the glovebox.
