High and low spots of car ownership

I just wondered what your high and low spots of motoring are.

My low point cam just after the engine went in my Rover a second time! (Just 200 miles after I fitted it! )

High points are difficult to pin down there have been so many but I would say the High point of my motoring career is probably a drive through Snake Pass in the Audi A3. (Although a recent trip to Wales had me grinning like a maniac as I traversed the lovely twisty roads.)

Another high point was actually when I bought my 220 GTi, I don't think I have been so excited over anything as the day I took delivery.

A high point of driving for me when I got my Civic. A high point comes every time I have it modded as well!

I can't really think of any low points in my 2 and a half years of driving.

Low point for me - After driving to Manchester to pick up my boyhood dream of a gleaming Pacifica Blue Escort Cosworth, it blows up on the way home.

One of many high points - Having my M3 off the clock going past a copper on a German Autobahn, the M3 didn't have a limiter either

my major highpoint, not having to bum a ride to get somewhere. lowpoint was when the timing belt went on my camry. left my wife and kids stranded on the freeway between yuma, az and san diego.

Low point - Constant cooling issues followed by the inevitable Head Gasket failure on my Rover 216SLi (first car).

High Point - Collecting my W8

Actually - there is more to that story as to why its a 'low point'. I'd just had an argument with my girlfriend... one of those "well fine" moments - jumped in the car, sped off and promptly blew up !! - Plooms of white smoke.

high point - basiclly ralling around the highlands in my fiesta, learned alot from that journey. As had only passed my test a couple of months earlier

low point - getting the car smashed couple of weeks ago, its going into the garage on friday however

i have a small 1 alright and its the 2 front tyres wear quickley due to the weight of the engiene, other than that its all good
