Gun Metal Vs Black

It seems that gun metal is replacing black at the moment. I've now got gun metal and I used to have black. Has the whole black wheels thing been done now? Or does it still look good?

Im not a fan of black wheels on cars usually unless its a top end version or very well modded but I do like the gun metal grey

I think anything can look good on the right car. I remember looking, no drooling over a gunmetal grey Ford Escort RS turbo in the 80's wiht colour coded RS alloys! It definately looks good but I think black will always be "in fashion" whereas other colours come and go.

Gold seems to be getting popular at the moment! Not a big fan of that one though!

I think it really depends on the car colour as to what colour alloys to have, when i wanted an orange mustang I really wanted black alloys to go with it as black alloys go well on an orange car, now I'm painting my car black I'm getting gold alloys as gold goes well with black.

I didn't realise black alloys were that popular, I know gold seems to be really popular on scoobs

Like already said I think it depends on the colour of the car.
I like black wheels I think they look sweet. Black alloys in the modified world generally means street racer orientated. Another good choice is anthracite I think they look sick.

Hahaha indeed. As said much depends on personal preference and what sort of look you're going for. Most aftermarket non-motorsport wheels look sh*te anyway. White seems to be making a big come-back at the moment.

i kno this is not even one of the colors but i think white makes a good color altho the black is a "it" color when it comes to painted rims..

White is a good choice of colour for rims I think. There is this silly black corsa round here with standard alloys painted green.... It looks rubbish.:blink:
