Metal flake ratio in lacquer

um, with out the size of flakes i wouldnt be able to help, plus it dippends how much flakeing you want.

sorry cant be of much help here

It depends a lot on the finish you are after, I've seen good effects with lots of tiny flakes and fewer larger flakes. I would always put a top coat on to seal it all in after the flake coat. The spray nozzle size will also have a bearing on the flakes you can use.

not sure of the amount per litre/pint but i used the smallest ones i could on my z. i just wanted a little bit of flake and only put a little bit in the spray. i think i have about 3 layers of flake spray on her though. (it didn't look right til then) if you are worried about to much flake, it will take more laquer and give you a few more layers but you could try that. but make sure they are light sprays and you let it dry between or it may run on ya then you are SOL
