Gear box questions/raitos

i think thats it or mt 75 but anyway my questions are

1. im trying to find out any info on the gear raitos of 3rd 4th and 5th gear
@ increasment of 1k rpm up to 7k how many times the wheel rotates at any of the givern

an example if im not explaining my self very well.

say @ 1k rpm in 3rd = wheel rotates say 258 times.

any help much welcome thanks.

this would also depend on the size of the wheel.

one way to work it out. find out the circumference of the wheel then find the road speed at xxxx rpm and calclate it that way

yes did think of that but thanks for pointing out & was not able to rotate box/engine many thanks though.

How about asking at the parts department of your local rover dealer, or whatever is left of them? the guys should be able to tell you all about the gearing.

What about MOTO-Build racing. They have always been quite helpful.
