Driving shoes and gloves

Do you have specific driving shoes? Do you put on driving gloves?

I know a few guys who have special driving shoes and gloves and it all seems a bit too much if you ask me!

Just the shoes I happen to be wearing.

At track days I wear soft soled driving shoes that give better feel on the pedals as well as driving gloves.

Generally just whatever's on my feet but if i'm going for a long or interesting/challenging drive i'll wear something with thin soles that I can feel the pedals better through

I wear nothing special when driving generally, although on a track day or an airfield blast, I do much prefer to wear trainers.
