diesel bike powered with turbo

Hi friends i am planning to fit a turbo in 5hp single cylinder diesel engine,its performance with out turbo is worst it causes more vibrations very low pickup very low speed but good mileage so i need to increase its performance by fitting a turbo please suggest what are the steps to do it

Welcome to TC. That's an interesting idea! Sounds like lawn mower engine territory! I'm no expert but doubt if it would work.

Is a turbo diesel on a bike a good idea? Do you really want a massive sudden hit of torque to the back wheel of a bike?

5hp single, so not that big but lumpy when running. Balancing that would be key to it staying together.

Horse power doesn't give an indictation on how big the engine is, you need to know how big then engine is so you have some idea on how to size the turbocharger.

The smallest turbo I've seen on the market would be the Garrett GT12
