just wandering what do people do insurance wise for a 2nd car that is used mainly weekends?? cause im using my ncd on the legacy so this cant be used for the leon cause i just got a quote and it was coming out at £1,500 sadly i cant afford that so how do people do this financially?

Have you tried a multicar policy? You will be able to use your ncb on both cars (i think)

Some brokers have access to second car schemes which duplicate your NCB to the second car. Ask around really - that's the only way. I doubt any one insurer will be competitive on both cars so you are probably better off finding one that offers a substantial second car introductory discount.

If they are never driven at the same time and the other is parked off road you might be able to strike a deal.
