Brake light bulbs

Why is it always the brake light bulb filament that goes before the tail light filament? The tail light is on for hours at a time and the brake light is barely on at all!

How often do you have to change your brake lights?

thats is why the brake lights on on and off all the time
causing it to get hot then cool down quick were a side light is on for a longer time so stay hotter for longer causing less damge
if that makes sense lol

Oddly it's the tail light that goes first on mine. :blink: not sure how often I change them, but now you've mentioned it I imagine I'll be changing them in the next week or so!

The brake filament circuit is 21watts against the 5w one for the sidelight filament circuit.
