Hi guys, new here from the Cayman Islands . I have a 2005 116i with an n45b16a engine which was meant to be swapped out for a k24 Honda engine but due to an accident I’ve had, now have to sell the k24 and am opting to up the performance on the n45 until I am able to swap something else into it.
Reason for not selling
As much as I would love to sell and buy a new car with more power, it is cheaper to swap a more powerful engine into this car because cars are extremely expensive on this island and it would also be difficult to find another example in such good working order. This car has been extremely reliable for me and I know I would end up forking out over 7K for something with similar reliability and (no) power.
Please let me know if you have any tips or recommendations for tuning this engine and any styling recommendations are of course welcome as she is rocking the bone stock look at the moment.
