Best way to remove sound deadening.

The horrible stuff thats glued to the floor & sets like rock, whats the best way to remove it? Is safe to use a heat gun & scraper?

if it is welding grinding it will get the floor ready

I took some off a fiesta once i just used a hammer but be carfull you don't put it through the floor....:bigsmile:

Yup hammer and chisel. I've tried all kinds of nasty solvents and none of them worked.
