Hi there and welcome. What sort of money are you looking at spending? Have you thought about an engine swap or did you want something more subtle than that?

engine swap as well - 182 or the 2.0 turbo outa the megane

Fisrt of all bin the standard air filter an replace it with an aftermarket 1. Then a nice exhaust. Depending on how much you wanna spend whether it's just a back box or a full system? I'd recommend a full system. Anyway then you could add some performance cams. Uprate the standard Ht leads and plugs. And an ECU remap to tie it all in. You could always go the engine swap route as already mentioned. But just a thought if you take the power up on your engine I'd recommend doing a full service to it. Including head gasket and belts....Just to be on the safe side...
