Yes that would give you a higher rate of damping due to the smaller damper hole given to the 100bhp derv model and the gti's, lowering the gas pressure of a stock sphere would give you the feel of stiffer springs but to lower the car you would need the old Koni spheres, nothing amtex or citroen...

What you want is a set of Koni Sports sphere's on that BX, if they still do them, then you can lower it on the height correctors, the cheapest and in many ways best suspension of most cars out there, no good on the road though ima if its lowered too much and over damped. D

Sounds like a drive chain failure to me, mounts would give nocking, vibration etc etc but would never lock the wheels up. Get the front end off the ground and give the wheels a spin by hand and under power to see what they do. D

I dropped a M5 nut when working on an old 3 sreies BMW i had for beating around in, turned out i had dropped it into the carb, it ran for another 2K rattling away untill one day the piston disintigrated, no idea why:lol: What does 10 points get me then????:blink1: D

Well here is my little baby Ive done pretty much all i wanted with the body, morretts, 17" rims and a re spray. For my next project this is the XU10 J2T low pressure turbo engine that will be going into it eventualy once ive rebuilt it. rebuilt lots of engines, its what keeps me sane:lol...

im not usually a fan of auto's but it is a long distance cruiser and it suits the car, the box has to stay. The turbo and the n/a are essentialy the same engine, just with different management, camshaft, pistons etc etc, with a little electrical re alignment it will slot straight in. D
