What is the best day for driving?

What day of the week would you say is the best one for a pure fun pleasure drive?

For me Early Sun when the roads are empty. I just love having the freedom of an open road (with no caravans, taxis or cyclists).

I like a few caravans around because it give me something to bait.

I like driving any day late at night...but in the daytime sundays are usually the best! Just a shame I'm usually working!

any day really just now so many people are only using the car when required, rather than mabye doing 2 trips a week to town they are doing everything in a oner. so less traffic going about

Any Day HDI? What about when the traffic is nose to tail? You must guarantee an empty road to have a nice drive.

6am Sunday morning

One of the best drives I've ever had was setting off from Middlesbrough at 5.30am on a Sunday morning and driving to Bradford. The A168 is a lovely road for driving fast. It runs parallel to the A1(M). Even during the day there isn't much traffic - because it's all on the A1. The roads from the end of the A168 through Pool heading towards Bradford are nice too
