What car makes a good time machine

If you were to do a modern remake of back to the future what car would you choose to base it on?

Does the Delorean still make the best choice or would there be a better, more iconic car to suit the role?

Lexus LFA, Audi R8, Vauxhall Corsa (joking!) or something else?
