Problem with key fob

My key fob was dropped a couple of times and since has not worked properly its hit and miss if it does and end up taking it apart to try to get it to work, it has the immobilizer so is a real problem! can anyone out there help? I need to find someone that knows what they are doing but don't want it to cost the earth I think it is a problem within the wiring of the key fob switch not the immobilizer, I live in Bristol.

What car? My focus key was playing up and it was just the connector for the battery wasnt touching properly. Needed bending back
