You take your car into the garage for some essential work. Then you see the lad that is going to be working on it. At this point alarm bells start going off in your head. Do you really want to have your car worked on by this "Lad". I think we have all been there but what are the "signs" to look out for?

Here are a few of mine
1) If his nuckles drag along the floor when he walks.
2) If he uses copious amounts of hair gel (mechanics know they are going to get dirty and don't bother doing their hair.)
3) The tools in his front shirt pocket are all sparklingly clean.
4) His overalls have little or no stains, marks rips tears or damage.

His boots are so clean you could see your face in them

there's no oily rag in his overall pockets

The boss shouts "where's my cuppa tea", at the lad while he's talikng to you about the work he's going to do

We all have to start somewhere. If it's a good garage facility then his work will be checked by more experienced staff as he goes along.

I had the crappy phone kit removed from my BMW last July by a young man of 23 in Bicester, working for a local independent auto electrical specialist.

He did an impeccable job, and left NO TRACE at all of the installation or its subsequent removal. No squeaks, creaks or rattles at all.

also they will try and tell you how it all works even thou its all wrong what they aare saying but wont shut up for 30 mins
least are boy does
i have to tell him to shut up and stop tell people the wrong info cos he thinks he knows everything
