Building a Car Help

Ello all i am after a Decent Car chassis which can withstand desert terrain as well as support a engine under the size of 1 L i was thinking a suzuki Jeep

If i could i would love to use a chassis of the Mark 3 Capri haha

anyone got any ideas?

oh and for the engine i was thinking of bolting in a Motorbike engine!

Daihatsu did the Terios, that had a small engine. Or how about a Panda 4x4? Not sure a bike engine would be reliable under the rigours of off roading though.

yeah because i am doing a 7300 mile endurance race and the desert is part of it so im sure to look at every aspect

its too old mate i forgot to mention i need a motor under the age of ten but they run forever they do

They still make them, Mitsubishi even make one for Nissan called the Kix, The later ones are slightly longer & wider too.

The suzukis SJ would be suitable. They are quite rugged. 1.0 is not a lot of power though but I guess you just want to finish!

You have to do it. Find an old Fiat 500 and turn it into an off roader. I'd put a Suzuki 1000 engine in.
