Typical.

I don't go out much at weekends, being old and Billy no mates.

This weekend I had planned to got to Elvington to watch the TOTB competition and catch up with the organiser. I have now just found out that my friend with the V8 Pop is planning to run at the Pod this weekend. On top of that, another friend with a V8 Mk5 Cortina is actually racing in a competition class for the first time!! Bugger!

I guess I am off to the Pod.

I should have carried on to York! I arrived at 7:45 only to find out that both cars had developed oil leaks so weren't going to run! had a good day despite that.

However, the guy I know with a Dax Rush was competing at the TOTB at York and won quickest RWD and quickest overall on the handling course and came second on the 1/4 mile with a messed gear change.
