Are drivers getting more bad mannered!

Is it just me or what? I let 7 cars through various gaps today and only 1 bothered to thank me! (It was a Taxi as well!) Do you think that manners are fast vanishing on the road?
 
I cant remember the last time someone thanked me for letting them through. Oh yeah thats cos I never let them through.
 
You are the problem then XAV!

Our area is quite friendly, just 10miles either way and the roads are like warzones with no manners and most drivers selfishly pushing through causing jams and delays.
 
I always acknowledge someone that lets me merge into heavy traffic with a wave.
Good manners costs nothing IMO.
 
^^ Agree with you 100% Rad, I have exceptionally good manners inbuilt from a very early age, but many of my fellow motorists had this skill bypassed from a very early age too. :(
 
Parental upbringing is a major factor. I lament to think about what happens when the bad mannered kids of today have children of their own.
