Winter check recommendations

So we're going into winter now, are you ready for the snow?

Have you checked your tyre pressures, oil levels, antifreeze and tyre condition yet?

Are there any other checks you like to carry out on your car before the big freeze hits us?

I don't have that problem but I would think that one should have a spare set of wheels with winter/snow tyres fitted ready for when winter hits.

That is compulsory in some European countries with fines for cars shod with the wrong rubber in winter/summer.
