my car is rattling think it might be track rod end on drivers side because when you shake the steering wheel it makes a knocking sound any one got any ideas
 
take it to a garage and have them check it out. or if u wanna do it a cheaper way . jack the cars front end up . take the wheel off and see if anytthing nocks on anything when turning the steering wheel . thats what i would do.
 
dont take the wheel off. just jack it up and see if theres movement in the wheel the wheel bearing could be shot.

do you get any vibration through the wheel when driving
 
This sounds daft but make sure your wheel nuts are tight, once i got my lil cento back from garage and they had only tightened locking nuts :mad:
