Volvo V40 T5 R-Design Plus 2015 Oil Consumption

Hey,

What should be the avarage engine oil consumption of Volvo V40 T5 R-Design Plus 2015?

I get a notification to add 1 liter every 3-4 months with avarage driving of 1000km per month and with light to moderate aggression.

That sounds high to me, have you got the correct grade of oil in it?

I just googled this and a v40 group have quiet a thread with it being a common issue 2015-2018 petrol and diesel… saying it’s a oil control ring on the piston.
