If it was that simple then the spark plug would have died years ago.
might spark plug die soon because of me but, the thing is no one ever tried to work on what i have mentioned........FACT FACT FACT

GM and MB have been playing with compression ignition petrols for a while but nothings came to light about it. dont know what GM were doing with it but MB were having variable compression ratios depending on what the engine load is.
hmmmmm
plus some links for you
http://www.gizmag.com/go/7679/ -thought it was around the time i joined the forum that i read bout a 1.8 petrol engine giving 235bhp a shed load of torque and still getting over 40mpg while fitted to the tank that is the s class
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DiesOtto
and in 2010 they were still trying to work on it

what your looking at is nothing new its just so bloody hard to get it to work right. if merc can pump over £1m a day into engine development and not get it to work well enough to use in the mainstream then its going to take more than one man in a shed to get it working.
Please feel free to tell me how youve got it working and ill get in touch with my man in AMG development for you im sure theyll offer you a job
