Trying to improve my Blazer's MPG

I know my Chevy Blazer can hardly be called a hot hatch, but this seems as good a thread as any

As hard as I try I am unable to get more than 18mpg.

However, I bought a Hypertech 3200 on Amazon.com and had it delivered to LA (where I am on holiday at present):

This claims, among other things, to improve MPG by 2mpg. Not much, but over 10% improvement on 18mpg

I will keep you posted on results.

I think you'll find a 3 angle valve job will greatly help fuel economy.

Shame. I'd like to see a 2mpg improvement, that's 10%
