somethings missing...

Ok so I was driving down a national limit road the other day at reasonable speed when I went to change gear and noticed something was missing... My gear knob had fallen off and vanished. It reminded me of a story my dad once told me about back in the day he and his mates did loads of cars and they once didn't attach a steering wheel properly and it came of whilst driving... That'd worry yah

So thought I'd ask other peoples experiences, anyone found bits of their car coming off whilst driving?

I had a steering wheel come off once. Thank fully we were not going that fast - the one remaining bolt had sheered off!

Another time I forgot to lock the seat (it was a dodgy car) and as I accelerated the seat shot backwards! Bit scary that one.

once had my brake pedal assembly come off. that wasn't a fun experience
