i think ive lost fuel efficency, this may be becuase it is suckign in hot air from engine bay
but i also think
because when i installed it
i did not reconnect the air temperature gauge (im pretty sure thats what it is OR it is the air pressure - eitehr one) that the ecu believes the car is sucking in 100% oxygen all the time thus pushing in more fuel -- losing fuel efficeincy

any replys would be good

put it all back how it was as it does not really do anything if you want air filter then change it to a panel one or all it will be doing is sucking hot air and losing bhp

and it is the air temp sensor you did not plug in

You could always just put some holes in the bottom of your air box if you like the sound. Get a spare box from the breakers yard and play around with this instead.

Hotter intake air means less oxygen and it should burn less fuel but you also get less power.
