Picasso remap heeeeellllllppppp!!!!

I have a sluggish 90bhp 2.0 hdi picasso. i bought an obd ecu tool to remap the ecu. i saved the original ecu info, then proceeded to add the tuned file. I thought it had gone well, until I tried to start the car. NOTHING. I went back into the program to retrieve the ecu info, but it now says 'no information'. I tried to reload the tuned file, but got an error message. So I then tried to put the original file back on. Again I got an error message.
The ecu tool is a kwp2000.
Is the Picasso a once only remap and then you have to replace the chip, or should you be able to remap as often as you like.

There is probably a checksum fault in what was uplaoded. Pretty much all ECU's after 2000 can be reprogrammed. Most cars have a fail safe limp home mode that kicks in after a bad flash.
