Overtaking - do it much

Do you do much overtaking? How many times a day/week do you overtake another car?

I tend to do most at the weekends when the roads are a bit quieter.

Do you still get a rush from overtaking?

Nothing really in town but on the motorway were I always seem to come up against those elite members of the "middle lane owners club!" then I have been known to tickle the throttle every now and again.

If some one is driving very slow, I tend to overtake. I only overtake if I can see clearly and the road is stright enough.

I will overtake if the car in front is driving either dangerously, too slowly or keeps accelerating and decelerating. Most of the time I don't mind sitting behind another car as it helps fuel consumption a little
I may overtake if the car in front has annoyed me for some reason like if a 1.1 106 pulls out in front of me, I might overtake just to make a point.

yes living in the countryside i overtake pretty much on a daily basis, is there a thrill in it ? nope nothing at all, just dont see the point sitting at 40mph when the conditions dont warrant it
