What years do you associate with the terms old skool, classic and vintage cars?

I suspect that our older members will go much futher back and probably still regard 10-20 year old cars as new.

For me :-

Old Skool 1980's
Classic 1970's
Vintage 1950's

The British usually define vintaqe as 1919 - 1930. The Americans prefer 1925 as the cut-off point.

Old Skool/School - Mk1 and 2 Escorts, Cortinas and Capris, all Anglias. Vauxhall Vivas. From late 50s (Anglias) to Mk2 Capris (1978). You are right, Waynne, Old Skool is a movabale feast, depending on you own particular birth date :)

Classic - The Classic Car Club of America defines a classic car as one manufactured between 1925 and 1948, high priced when new and built in limited quantities.

Being in drag racing and hot rod circles, it tends to be anything newer than 1972 is modern. That will sound very odd, but that was near enough the turning point where the muscle car era started to go down hill.

For me though, classic stuff tends be anything from the 1960's and early 70's. Vintage I would class as from day dot to the post war Fords (Anglia's and such). I started my involvement in racing via sit-up-and-beg Anglias (1948-53 style), so they're quite a favourite for me :)
