So Saturday I went to the New York International Auto show with my father. Was there the whole day, still didn't see everything. I didn't take photos of everything mainly because there's so much there. Tip: If you're going to an auto show, wear comfy shoes. I made the mistake of wearing my steel toe boots.
Each following post will be photos of a specific car Brand.

2014 Silverado (This was big news for us. My father wants to trade in his 2011 Silverado for one. We were extremely disgruntled to hear they eliminated the suicide door on extended cab models, and that they rear suspension still uses leaf springs while all competitors switched to coil springs in back. We b**ched accordingly directly to Chevrolet.)

Toyota (Didn't take any photos beyond this one as Toyota doesn't interest me)

Corolla Furia Concept (If they can make the next Corolla look like this, I'll forgive them for that abomination known as the Prius.)

Scion (A division of Toyota started in 2002 in a warehouse to appeal to young car enthusiasts in America. They launched their first production cars, the xA and xB in 2004).

Scion FR-S (Toyota GT86 as you Europeans know it)

Scion xD (Based on the Toyota Yaris, but with the 1.8L engine of the Toyota Corolla)

Ram (No longer called Dodge. Dodge trucks split off from Dodge around 2009 using the brand name Ram).

Ram 1500 (showing off the Rambox, an optional extra that allows luggage storage in the rear fenders. Unfortunately, it reduces the amount you can carry in the rear bed. I still adore the feature)

Jeep

Cherokee (This was big news. The last time the Cherokee was sold in America was 2002., Engine options are a 2.4L tigershark I4, 3.2L Pentastar V6, or a 3.0L VM Motori V6 Turbo Diesel)

SRT Viper TA:

Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 (engine measures 392 cubic inches, or 6.4L. It makes 470 HP. The color is called Plum Crazy and despite the lighting in the photo, it a really bright pearlescent purple.)

Wow... My brothers dad has just got hold of a Jeep Cherokee 4.7 litre V8. Gorgeous car. But these new concepts are FUGLY!

Volkswagen

Beetle Turbo Convertible R-line:

Beetle GSR Turbo (It's not white. The flash went off and washed it out. Car is bright yellow with black graphics. LOOK! Even a little kid's hugging it!)

Golf MK7 (Announced for the US market here. US engine options are either the 1.8L Turbo (base models), 2.0L Turbo (GTI), or 2.0L Turbo Diesel (TDI). Gone is the North American market specific 2.5L 5 cylinder. It's official. You can no longer buy a Golf in the US without a turbo.)

Cadillac

ELR (Think of it as a more luxurious 2 door Vauxhall Ampera/Chevrolet Volt)

There was also the new 2014 CTS revealed here with a new 420 HP twin turbo 3.6L V6 but I forgot to get pictures of it.

I believe you mean the Grand Cherokee. The Cherokee never came with the 4.7L V8. Largest engine available from the factory was the 4.0L I6. And that Cherokee is no concept. It's the production model. Coming to a dealer near you soon.

Acura/Honda (only interesting thing there. Acura is Honda's luxury division for the North American Market)

I know the brand Scion is unfamiliar to most of you since it's a North American Market (USA and Canada) thing, so I found a few advertisements for you to familiarize yourself with the brand.

2013 Scion FR-S:

Scion made a loyal following by specifically marketing towards the enthusiast and tuner crowd with their cars. The second gen xB you got as the Daihatsu Materia, and the tC is based on the Toyota Avensis chassis with the 4 cylinder engine from a Toyota Camry. The Scion tC effectively replaced the Celica. When Scion originally launched the xA and xB, they originally figured the xA would outsell the xB but the opposite happened and the xB outsold the xA 2 to 1. for 2007, the xA was dropped and replaced in 2008 with the xD. Scion's current line up is pretty dated and there's been talk of replacing the hot selling xB and average selling xD with rebadged Daihatsu hatchbacks but nothing's been confirmed.
